Giant Character Survey

Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
She's of average height and build. She's flexible and light on her feet as she's an Infiltrator and those things come in handy.

2. How old is she?
Well she was dead for two years, so she's either 30 or 32, depending on what you think counts as aging.

3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?
She's a marine, so she carries herself well by default.

4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Her health is very good and she's in shape as she is in the army. She's also alive, which is something that most people take for granted. But as stated before she was dead for two years, so she's more aware of it then others. She has a few synthetic/cybernetic elements making her up now thanks to Cerberus rebuilding her.

5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
For the most part Shepard is fluid, moving quickly and fast in a fight. When she's not fighting she's a bit more relaxed, unless stressed when she's tensed. Also when she dances..... well let's just say it's not very good.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror?
Shepard doesn't consider herself anything special. She doesn't think she's ugly, but she tends to have other things on her mind then looks. She's pretty, in a deadly way, if you like red hair, green eyes and the ability to punch people. She's still not fond of looking in mirrors too closely though, because of the small changes after being rebuilt, still unnerve her.

7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Shepard is very pale, probably from wearing a helmet a lot. She used to have a few scars on her face from her past, but they're gone after Cerberus rebuilt her. At the moment, she hasn't gained many new ones. But she does have some that are more like side effects of her surgery. Where the more ruthless and immoral she acts, the more the cybernetics in her turn up as scars. It also makes her eyes glow red. So far this hasn't happened to her yes as she's "Queen of the Girlscouts" but she worries at times.

8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style.
Her hair is a bright orange and red colour. It's short and at the longest, it goes near her chin. She keeps it pulled back behind her ears.

9. What color are her eyes?
Her eyes are green. She'd like to keep them this way.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
N/A

11. What are her chief tension centers?
Her chest and her head.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit?
She tends to wear uniforms as she's on duty a lot. She wears her armour when she needs to, and it's a dark red, with black and white on the side. She refused to wear a Cerberus uniform when she was helping them and instead wore rather casual clothes of overalls and weird sleeves that aren't attached. It's probably the type of thing she'd wear if she ever had shore leave that she didn't wear her armour to.

13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them?
She's very comfortable in her armour and doesn't like to be without it if she can help it. Especially when on a mission. As for her uniform, it's something you get used to. Her casual clothes are comfortable, otherwise she wouldn't wear them.

14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences?
Her free time is usually while she's still on duty, so for the most part she'll either wear a uniform or casual clothes. They are interchangeable on the ship. And she wears her armour a lot as well.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Briefs

An example of her voice

2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate?
She can be loud at time, she gets her voice heard. She talks easily and is able to think quickly so she's not just saying something foolish. She chooses her words carefully because she knows how easily things that be misunderstood. She tries to solve problems with words if she has the chance, and so knows how important tone is as well.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
She has a bit of a Canadian accent.

No.

6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words?

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart?
She's pretty intelligent. She has a good mind for strategy and making plans. She also likes to learn about everything she comes across. She's book-smart in that way, and she's street-smart, no matter what it might seem like.

She can think on her feet. She has to. It's part of having a job where people shoot at you a lot.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Shepard is very idealistic. She believes in the good of people and other races. She refuses to give up on people, no matter what others tell her. She is however more practical then people might think, as she is a solider and forced to make hard choices her entire life. She can and will make them, even if she doesn't like to.

She's intuitive and tends to do what she thinks will work. Sometimes at the expense of logical thinking. Like playing chess with real war tactics instead of ...well chess ones.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
She had a basic education on Mindoir until she was sixteen. After that she joined the Alliance Military and was taught from there. She joined the N7 Marine program. After that, she learns on her feet and from talking to people.

5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about?
Being a leader might be considered her area of expertise, as if there's one thing she's good at doing, it's getting people to follow her on insane missions. She's also good with tech and diplomacy. Also Sniper Rifles. She's interested in learning more about other cultures and wants to know more about the galaxy and its inhabitants.

6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert?
She's probably somewhere in the middle of the two. She's used to being around a large group of people, but she enjoys quiet moments when she can find them. Probably more extroverted, but really it depends on her mood, the situation and lots of other things, so we'll go with the middle.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
For the most part she's even-tempered. However, while being a very nice person, you don't want to make her angry, because when she gets angry, bad things happen to other people. Especially if the other person is trying to hurt someone close to Shepard. She's generally an optimist, though that takes a pounding with the war with the Reapers. She's a very driven person and will never give up, so long as she's able to move.

8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Depending on how and where she meets the new people or situation, she can be all of these. She tries to keep an open mind and not to judge people. She tends to want as much information as she can get about new situations.

9. Is she more likely to act, or to react?
She seems to react to things, but mostly because no one listens to her when she's trying to get help in the 'acting' stage. She likes to act but finds herself reacting more then she'd like.

10. Which is her default: fight or flight?
Fight. She will try to punch out anything if she feels she needs to. Like giant aliens.

11. Describe the character's sense of humour. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humour? Bathroom humour? Pranks?
She's got a dry and sarcastic sense of humour. She puts up with a lot of jokes as well because of Joker and EDI.

12. Does the character have any diagnosis mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them?
PSTD has to factor in at this point. She doesn't sleep well, has nightmares and is very stressed. She's yet to deal with it, and will likely have to receive at least some therapy after the war is over

-Team: Creates another team that, like her first team, becomes like family. She helps them with personal problems and becomes very close to all of them.
-Suicide Mission: Everyone lives. This is a huge thing to her as she think's she's cursed, but just this once....everyone lives. I can't overstate enough how big of a thing this was for her. She also finally was able to cut her ties to Cerberus and blew up the Collectors base rather then handing it over to them.
-Explodes Mass Rely: Because of bad writing circumstances out of her control, she is forced to blow up a Mass Rely to stop the Reapers from invading. Despite her best efforts, she is unable to save any of the Batarians, in that system.
-Turns herself in: She goes back to Alliance custody as the Batarians want her to answer for the deaths, and people don't believe her about the reapers still.

-The Reapers Invade: She is reinstated, is a full spectre again and is tasked with getting support for Earth.
-Cures the Genophage: Loses a friend but cures the sterility plague the Krogans have. And brings peace to Krogan's and Turians. And gives the Krogan a future.
-Peace: Ends a war centuries old, by yelling. The Geth and the Quarians now work together.
-Thane: Loses another friend.
-The Fall of Thessia
-Revenge: Kills the assassin that killed Thane.
-Helps take back Earth
-Talks the Illusive Man into freeing himself from indocrintation, long enough that he shoots himself in the head.
