Backstory: Shepherd was born and raised on Mindoir, a small border colony in the Attican Traverse. When she was sixteen, slavers raided Mindoir, slaughtering her family and friends. She was saved by a passing Alliance patrol, and then enlisted with the military a few years later.
During her service, a mission she was on went horribly wrong. Trapped in an extreme survival situation, she had to overcome physical torments and psychological stresses that would have broken most people. Shepherd survived while all those around her fell, and now she alone is left to tell the tale. Her unit was slaughtered in a thresher maw attack on Akuze. She really hates Thresher Maw's.
Alignment: Shepherd is a paragon for most things, especially the big ones. However she will pick renegade a few times, mostly for smaller things.
